Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Inc. in Fresno, CA is seeking a Shift Leader who will guide your team to deliver fast, friendly service and consistent operations during your shift, turning up the heat in busy times.

You’ll handle opening/closing duties, inventory, training, and cash handling while upholding EPL standards and QSC expectations, with growth potential and flexible full- or part-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ year restaurant supervisory experience.
• Must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during shifts to ensure service quality.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, inventory, deliveries, and cash handling.
• Ensure service speed and cleanliness per EPL/QSC standards.
• Train and support team on new products and procedures.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust for sales volume.
• Greet customers and assist with orders; respond to inquiries.
• Perform additional duties to support daily restaurant operations.
