Chick-fil-A Southridge Center is seeking a Shift Leader to guide Team Members on Front or Back of House operations in Charleston, WV. You’ll lead by example, coach peers, and help ensure top-tier guest service while maintaining daily operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and accountability within a friendly, team-driven environment that supports growth and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Leadership experience preferred, ideally in service or kitchen settings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, teamwork-driven environment.
• Strong guest interaction and leadership communication.
• Reliable, coachable, and dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and guide Team Members with direction and feedback.
• Collaborate with management to train and track new Team Members.
• Motivate staff to maintain strong customer service scores.
• Ensure opening/closing tasks are completed on time.
• Oversee facilities to stay organized and compliant with sanitation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Front of House and Back of House roles.

What You'll Do as a Shift Leader

• Build positive working relationships and provide direction and feedback to Team Members

• Partner with the management team to train and track new Team Members' performance

• Motivate Team Members to maintain strong customer service scores

• Ensure shift tasks and opening/closing duties are completed on time

• Take ownership of the restaurant facilities, keeping them organized and up to sanitation and food safety standards

• Maintain a thorough understanding of key positions in both Front of House and Back of House

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Leadership experience preferred, ideally in customer service or a kitchen environment

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 10 hours, and stay physically active for extended periods

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure

• Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, coachable, with a strong work ethic

• Able to communicate effectively with guests and Team Members as a leader
