Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, product quality, cleanliness, and profitability while representing Red Robin values and brand equity.

Training and leadership growth are part of the development path. Ideal candidates have 21+ years old, restaurant experience, and strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts.
• Act as an ambassador of Red Robin brand standards to ensure guest loyalty and profitability.
• Supervise peers and collaborate with exempt management on leadership growth.
• Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness while maximizing profits.
• May work in this role as well as other hourly positions based on restaurant needs.
