Job summary

Red Robin in Colorado is seeking an enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to help run daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. You will model our standards, resolve guest issues, and ensure product quality and cleanliness while leading a team on the floor.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of full-service restaurant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a readiness to work a flexible schedule, including openings, closings, weekends

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations of the restaurant during scheduled mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management.
• Be an ambassador of Company & Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Resolve guest interactions and optimize profits while ensuring product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• May work in this role as well as other hourly roles and be scheduled based on restaurant need.
