Experience in food and beverage, knowledge of safety practices, and strong communication skills are required. The role involves teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food and beverage experience preferred.
• Guest relations training completed or experience.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and courtesy.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance required.
• Proper food safety training and certification as described by law.
• Experience with MS Office/Google and POS systems (Micros, Aloha) and OpenTable reservations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Prepare tables, arrange seating, restock condiments and perform side-work.
• Take orders accurately and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Know menu items, specials and deviations.
• Manage seating, suggest dishes and relay guest needs to cooks.
• Ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
• Handle wine service tableside and cash/credit transactions.
• Record revenues and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas and assist with duties as needed.
• Support events and answer phone with proper etiquette.
• Build positive relations with coworkers and guests.
• Bus tables and assist with dish processing as needed.
• Assist kitchen with prep or plating when required.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
