Qualifications

• One year of prior food and beverage experience preferred.
• Prior guest relations training.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Proper food safety training and certification as described by law.
• Experience with POS and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly.
• Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and know menu offerings.
• Handle seating and communicate guest needs to kitchen staff.
• Record revenue and process cash, card, or room charges.
• Clean front-of-house areas and assist with dining area upkeep.
• Assist with events and special occasions when needed.
• Answer telephone with proper etiquette and professionalism.
