Job summary

The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, MO is seeking AM Server to deliver a welcoming dining experience and guide guests through our modern menu.

We offer full-time and part-time seasonal positions with opportunities for advancement through the Management Development Program and a path to leadership roles within F&B.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and make change accurately.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and order.
• Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant.
• Present menus and be knowledgeable about menu contents, recipes, and offerings.
• Verify guests' identification for alcohol service.
• Maintain knowledge of prices, items, and daily specials.
• Coordinate with serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to health and customer service guidelines.
• Dress professionally and maintain a polished appearance.
• Act with integrity in all decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant
• Present menus and be knowledgeable of menu contents, recipes, and restaurant offerings
• Verify guests' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Have basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Dress in appropriate event staff uniform at all times, while also maintaining professional appearance
• Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision

Requirements:

• Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
• A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
