Job summary

The Lodge of Four Seasons is seeking AM Server staff to deliver welcoming, high-quality service in a fast-paced dining area. You will guide guests through the menu, ensure order accuracy, and help create memorable experiences with a positive, team-oriented approach.

Full time and part time seasonal positions are available; the team emphasizes professional growth through our Management Development Program and travel discounts for staff. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills and ability to read and speak clearly.
• Strong customer service orientation with friendly, engaging demeanor.
• Familiarity with basic math for cash handling and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and order.
• Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant.
• Present menus and be knowledgeable about items and pricing.
• Verify guests' IDs to ensure alcohol service compliance.
• Collaborate with serving and kitchen staff for smooth service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant
• Present menus and be knowledgeable of menu contents, recipes, and restaurant offerings
• Verify guests' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Have basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Dress in appropriate event staff uniform at all times, while also maintaining professional appearance
• Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision

Requirements:

• Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
• A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues
• Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
