Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager for ground-up restaurant and retail projects in Reston, VA. The role blends site oversight with hybrid work flexibility, requiring strong leadership and safety compliance across multiple sites.

You will manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules, review blueprints, and coordinate with contractors and clients to deliver high-quality commercial spaces on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ground-up restaurant and retail construction projects.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Experience reading construction blueprints and plans.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle construction for multiple concurrent restaurant and retail projects, including schedules and budgets.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to stay within budget.
• Interpret complex blueprints and architectural designs and execute project plans.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies using standard software.
• Lead meetings with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to align stakeholders.
