Job summary

Payroc is seeking a Restaurant POS Installation Specialist to drive the installation, configuration, and deployment of POS and payment solutions. You will coordinate timelines, manage cross-functional teams, and work directly with merchants to ensure a seamless onboarding and successful go-live.

The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills and technical knowledge of POS systems, hardware staging, and merchant training, with travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in POS, SaaS onboarding, or payment tech.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and retail POS platforms (Clover, Revel, Lightspeed, Toast) and related hardware.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proactive and collaborative.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive successful implementations with milestones, timelines and dependencies; document tasks and communication.
• Coordinate between stakeholders to translate technical requirements and align scope and capabilities.
• Analyze and customize merchant menus and databases for hospitality and retail use cases.
• Participate in testing and validation of database configurations prior to go-live.
• Perform end-to-end hardware and software imaging and staging for deployment.
• Execute remote and on-site installations with merchant-specific configurations and go-live readiness.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network configuration issues during implementation and after deployment.
• Train merchant staff during go-live and provide real-time troubleshooting and guidance.
• Ensure smooth handoff from implementation to ongoing support and resolve post-deployment issues.
