Job summary
Payroc is seeking a Restaurant POS Installation Specialist to oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of POS solutions for the hospitality sector. You will coordinate timelines, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary contact with merchants through the implementation lifecycle.
The role combines hands-on technical work with project coordination, including hardware imaging, software setup, merchant training, and go-live support.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project management experience in POS or payment processing
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive implementations with milestones, timelines, and dependencies; document tasks for accountability.
- Coordinate between stakeholders to translate technical requirements and align scope.
- Design and customize merchant menus and databases for hospitality/retail use cases.
- Assist with database configurations, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Perform end-to-end hardware and software imaging and staging for deployment readiness.
- Install POS hardware and software on-site and remotely; validate preparations.
- Train merchant staff during go-live and provide real-time troubleshooting.
- Handover to ongoing support; monitor post-deployment issues.
