Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) in Espanola, New Mexico is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run daily operations and ensure friendly, fast, high-quality service in a clean, inviting environment.

You will lead a small team under the General Manager, manage staff schedules, uphold safety standards, and promote a family-friendly dining experience while delivering great food.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Weekend/holiday shifts required; occasional Thanksgiving/Christmas closures.
• Valid driver's license and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent; state and federal documents required.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
