Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, personalized service with great food.

You will work with the District Manager and team to uphold standards, train staff, and optimize guest experiences in a fast-paced environment at our Deming, NM location. This role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and ensuring health and safety compliance while promoting a fun, family atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service (preferred).
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing - access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
