Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead shifts, coach teams, and ensure consistent operations that meet brand standards in a fast-paced setting. You will partner with the GM to maintain safety, training, and high-quality customer experiences.

The AGM will also help recruit, onboard, and develop staff, handle guest concerns, and support financial performance while upholding OSHA guidelines and health requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks with quality assurance.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize customer experience.
• Prioritize health and safety in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist in training and developing leaders, and create development plans.
• Collaborate with GM to identify staffing needs and onboard new hires.
• Support GM in achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Deliver 5-star service and exceptional customer experience.
• Assist GM in overall restaurant operations and standards.
