Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily restaurant operations and lead teams in the absence of the GM. The AGM will focus on operational excellence, staff development, customer experience, and safety compliance across all shifts in our Sparks, NV location.

The role emphasizes training, onboarding, and collaboration with the GM to meet financial goals while delivering 5-star service to guests.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks while upholding quality standards.
Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize customer experience.
Prioritize OSHA safety compliance and health regulations.
Train and develop future leaders with feedback and development plans.
Collaborate with GM on recruiting and onboarding new hires.
Support GM in achieving restaurant financial goals and performance.
Ensure 5-star service and customer satisfaction, acting as GM support when needed.
