Job summary

RL Jordan / Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise daily operations, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and support inventory control. You will schedule staff, oversee a team of 4–12, and assist with orders and promotions while maintaining high safety standards and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has restaurant operations experience, supervisory background, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant operations, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Computer knowledge is desirable; experience with POS systems.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; ability to drive for off-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily operations to uphold food safety, preparation, cleanliness and inventory standards.
• Schedules and supervises staff; manages a team typically 4–12 people.
• Oversees performance evaluations and recommends promotions or terminations.
• Assists with product orders, inventory and events planning.
• Completes Subway University courses as directed and drives when Manager is unavailable.
