Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support and guide restaurant operations, training Team Members and ensuring quality service for Guests in a fast‑paced theater environment.

You'll uphold Cinemark's standards for timeliness, accuracy and guest experience, manage cash handling, inventory, and supervise staff to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience while driving cost control and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Leadership of restaurant team members and coordination of service to Guests
• Ability to train, coach and supervise staff to ensure quality food and beverage service
• Strong guest service mindset with focus on timeliness and accuracy
• Compliance with safety, alcohol service and cash handling policies
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches Team Members to serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
• Interacts verbally with Guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
• Completes assigned administrative functions
• Ensures cash handling procedures are completed according to company and brand policy
• Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations
• Conducts regular inventory and ordering as necessary
• Accepts and audits deliveries
• Adheres to budgets, increasing profits through cost managements and sales growth
• Handles complex and challenging customer service scenarios
• Ensures that Team Members follow the dress code
• Lears and follows Cinemark's Guidelines and enforces them
• Reports Employee relations issues to the General Manager
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Uses PPE appropriately
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope
• Addresses safety or security issues
• Performs other duties as assigned
