Job summary

Costa Vida in Utah is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and deliver guest-focused service. This role reports to the General Manager and directly manages a team of Hourly Shift Supervisors and Team Members to ensure smooth restaurant performance.

Responsibilities include inventory control, vendor coordination, maintaining cash controls, and coaching staff to uphold brand standards, safety, and outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• PROFITABILITY: Manage inventory costs and perform inventory inspections.
• PROFITABILITY: Place and receive inventory truck orders and monitor assets.
• PROFITABILITY: Ensure cash control and security procedures are followed.
• GUEST: Motivate and direct staff to deliver fast, friendly service.
• PEOPLE: Coach shifts Supervisors and Team Members to raise performance.
• OPERATIONS: Ensure efficient prep and accurate product sales within speed guidelines.
