Costa Vida is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Payson, UT. The role supports the Store Operator in daily restaurant operations, focusing on food quality, guest service, and sanitation.

It is a hands-on leadership position requiring organization and pace in a fast-moving kitchen. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, ServSafe certification, a food handler permit, and a valid driver’s license, plus at least 2 years supervisory experience in a kitchen.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• Food Handler permit.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience as a supervisor, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assists GM by maintaining HAACP program and executing by Costa Vida standards.
• Oversees restaurant when Store Operator is not present, ensuring quality and safety.
• Trains and develops team to meet Costa Vida standards and guest satisfaction.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized dining environment.
• Supports inventory, ordering, invoicing and product tracking.
• Provides training and coaching to strengthen team performance.
