Job summary

Popeyes restaurant is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, safeguard profitability, and elevate guest service. You will support the Restaurant General Manager in managing a single unit and lead 20–45 team members, including Shift Coordinators.

Key duties include inventory ordering and control, asset management, preventative maintenance coordination, cash handling compliance, coaching staff, and ensuring fast, accurate product preparation and service within brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience, management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation to influence profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory costs and conducts daily, weekly and monthly inspections.
• Places and receives inventory truck orders and tracks assets.
• Oversees preventative maintenance and interacts with external vendors as needed.
• Enforces cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
• Motivates and coaches shifts coordinators and team members for improved performance.
• Directs team in efficient preparation and prompt delivery within speed guidelines; upholds brand standards.
