Job summary

IHOP in Boise, Idaho seeks a capable operations supervisor to lead the unit in achieving budgeted sales, maintaining guest satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. You will supervise craft employees, assist the General Manager, and coordinate daily activities to keep service smooth.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, inventory, safety, and reporting. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of related experience are required; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of guests or employees.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation unit by performing the following duties.
• Assist in the achievement of budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and HR objectives per SOP and operations plan.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees per SOP and operations plan.
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies and proper operation of equipment, building, and premises per SOP.
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices are maintained per regulations and SOP.
• Ensure security practices per SOP.
• Assist in completion of all required reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
