Job summary

mhgi is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee both Front and Back of House operations under the guidance of the General Manager. The role includes directing daily activities, training high-potential teammates, and serving as senior leader on duty when the GM is away.

Responsibilities cover P&L oversight, staffing, inventory, scheduling, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 1–2 years of management experience in a casual dining restaurant.
• ServSafe and Alcohol certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front and Back of House daily operations to ensure smooth service.
• Partner with GM to manage P&L, sales growth, and cost control.
• Direct opening/closing procedures and oversee deliveries and inventory.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard hourly team members; train staff.
• Develop leaders and mentor future General Manager candidates.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving issues and maintaining food quality.
