Smashburger seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, manage staff performance, and enhance guest experiences under the guidance of the General Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manager experience in restaurants
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards and procedures
• Strong communication with restaurant management, front line employees and corporate support teams
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members
• Foster a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS)
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance
• Assist with local marketing and store initiatives
