Smashburger 1393 Avondale is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations and develop a high‑performing team. You will recruit, train, and mentor Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and crew while upholding Smashburger standards and a positive culture.

You’ll drive guest satisfaction, manage labor and costs, and push community engagement and local marketing efforts to grow sales. A strong leader with hands‑on coaching will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Restaurant General Manager experience.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards.
• Complete Smashburger training program.
• Strong written and verbal communication with restaurant staff and corporate teams.
• Proven people management, coaching, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Time management and consistency in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and team members to build future leaders.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and policy compliance.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by modeling service standards and resolving concerns.
• Manage labor, inventory, and operating expenses; adjust staffing based on sales trends.
• Drive growth through team communication, local marketing, and continuous improvements.
