Job summary

Smashburger 1714 Bruckner Commons is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and enhance the guest experience. You’ll coach shift leaders, manage schedules, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance while driving cost control and positive team culture.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of restaurant management, strong communication, and the ability to work nights and weekends. This role offers bonuses, health coverage, PTO, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Manager experience in restaurants.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow Smashburger uniform standards.
• Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger, local, state, and federal employment regulations.
• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with restaurant management, front line employees and corporate support teams.
• People management skills to effectively select, assess, coach/counsel, develop, motivate, and lead restaurant teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven time management, consistency, and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS).
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance.
• Assist with local marketing and store initiatives.
