Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations and build a high-performing team that delivers quality food and a welcoming guest experience. You will uphold our core values of accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork and empowerment while managing labor, safety, and guest satisfaction.

The role requires restaurant/retail experience, familiarity with P&L, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly guest experience.
• Reinforce Border Foods core values and ensure accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork and empowerment.
• Drive customer experience with fast, friendly service and safety compliance.
• Manage scheduling, labor control, inventory, and cash handling per policy.
• Support coaching and development to Team Members and Shift Leaders.
