Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to reinforce our CORE values and lead the entire restaurant operation. You will build and empower a strong team, ensure safe, welcoming environments, and deliver great food and a friendly guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of hiring and retaining staff.
• Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position requires a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a high-performing team.
• Ensure great food and friendly guest experience.
• Enforce health and safety standards and food safety.
• Monitor labor, inventory, and costs; apply P&L awareness.
• Recruit and train new team members to maintain performance.
• Schedule and supervise shifts, ensuring standards are met.
