Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations while upholding our Core Values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork and Empowerment.

You will supervise staff, ensure quality food and friendly service, manage scheduling and labor costs, and embody our people-first culture. This non-exempt role requires 50+ hours/week and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays; 50+ hours/week.
• Non-exempt management position; must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the restaurant and build a strong team.
• Deliver great food and a friendly guest experience.
• Manage scheduling, labor, and ensure safety and health standards.
