Job summary

Logan's Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations at a single location in Decatur, AL. You will drive sales, manage P&L, hire and develop managers and hourly staff, and ensure safety and food quality standards while maintaining a clean, well-maintained restaurant.

The role requires strong communication, 21+ years of age, and restaurant management experience. A college degree is preferred or equivalent experience, with a focus on leadership and team motivation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Motivate employees to work as a team to ensure standards.
• Energetic and flexible with a calm demeanor.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Maintains proper food handling and alcohol service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality and conduct 100% table visits.
• Handle guest complaints effectively.
• Assist with marketing to attract new guests.
• Build professional community relationships.
• Oversee staffing levels and interview candidates.
• Plan and lead shift meetings; gather team feedback.
• Provide coaching and development for hourly staff.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance standards are met.
• Manage cash handling and banking deposits.
• Oversee facilities maintenance and vendor relationships.
• Monitor food preparation, portions, and recipe compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
