Limestone BBQ and Bourbon in Newark, DE seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, guest satisfaction, and profitability. You will lead kitchen and dining coordination, ensure safety and quality, manage inventory and budgets, and drive promotions.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a focus on service excellence with a hands-on approach to health and safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess proper food handlers and alcohol dispensing certifications.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic to intermediate mathematical computations.
• General knowledge of labor laws, health codes and safety procedures.
• Satisfactory criminal history and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations: supervise all restaurant activities to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Customer Service: ensure positive dining experiences by addressing needs and resolving complaints.
• Staff Management: hire, train, schedule, and supervise servers, chefs, and cleaning personnel; foster a positive work environment.
• Inventory and Budget Management: oversee inventory, ordering, stock control, and cost control measures.
• Compliance and Safety: ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation regulations and licenses.
• Quality Control: monitor food quality and presentation, maintaining portion sizes and preparation times.
• Financial Management: oversee revenue, analyze sales data, and manage cash flow and reporting.
• Marketing and Promotion: collaborate on promotions and customer loyalty programs.
