Limestone BBQ and Bourbon in Newark, DE is seeking friendly servers to deliver memorable dining experiences. You will take orders, suggest specials, and ensure guests feel welcome in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

This role focuses on accurate POS entry, timely service, and teamwork with hosts, cooks, bussers, and management. Previous experience is preferred but not required; training is provided; evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Greet guests warmly and engage in conversation.
• Describe menu and promotions clearly and confidently.
• Enter orders into POS accurately and timely.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and address requests promptly.
• Verify age for alcoholic beverages as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to guests and engage in conversation.
• Be knowledgeable about food and beverage options and present them clearly.
• Inform guests of specials and promotions and offer recommendations.
• Enter orders into POS in proper sequence and charges.
• Check guest IDs to meet alcohol service requirements.
• Regularly check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Practice safe food handling and maintain cleanliness.
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Clear and reset tables for the next guests.
• Complete shift changes and opening/closing duties.
