Job summary

HMSHost in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run day-to-day QSR/casual dine operations in Grapevine, TX. The AGM ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operating to high standards, following prescribed policies to guide management decisions.

You will supervise associates, assist with hiring, scheduling, and safety compliance, and work closely with senior leaders to meet unit goals and ensure excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company procedures.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within identified locations.
• Interviews candidates and participates in hiring decisions for unit staff.
• Monitors financial and operational reports to meet unit goals.
• Ensures compliance with wellness, safety, and health standards.
• Assigns tasks, builds schedules, and ensures coverage across shifts.
