Job summary

Jack in the Box in San Antonio is seeking a Unit Manager to oversee daily operations, drive the Service Profit Chain, and uphold the Brand Promise. You will develop the team, ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, and manage guest satisfaction while meeting policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, maintaining food quality and safety, analyzing performance data, and controlling costs to improve sales and profit.

Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience - Internal Promote: 1+ years as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager; External Recruit: 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - 18+, Restaurant Manager training, ServSafe certified; fluent English; strong interpersonal skills; basic math; analytical skills; organized and responsible; PC software familiarity; valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Internal Service: recruit, train, develop, evaluate staff; ensure My Promise to You and SPC are executed; maintain an employee-friendly, safe, and respectful environment.
• External Service: ensure guest service excellence, food quality, brand standards, and responsive issue resolution.
• Sales & Profits: analyze performance data, drive sales and profitability, monitor costs, and uphold budget and goals.
