Job summary

World Wide Wings in Hood River, OR seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead a Taco Bell unit. You will oversee operations, ensure cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, and speed of service while training staff and modeling best practices.

Responsibilities include controlling costs, staffing, conducting evaluations, hiring, coaching, and enforcing safety and sanitation. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage turnover, and report results to the area coach.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in a supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizing, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Control cost categories (food, labor, cash, and controllables) per guidelines and budget.
• Drive sales growth by improving key metrics (5 Bells, CORE, speed of service, food quality).
• Maintain adequate staffing levels for all days/parts.
• Prepare and conduct performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and AGM.
• Handle hiring for crew, shift leaders, and AGM positions.
• Coach and train staff to meet certifications and performance goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per regulations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and safety standards.
• Address guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
