Job summary

Pizza Hut in Methuen, MA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in sales and profit planning and staff development. You will lead Shift Leaders, Shift Managers and Team Members, coach the team, and ensure operations run smoothly during shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education, partial high school education with specialized training or equivalent experience
• One to two years work experience in food service or related industry
• CHAMPS Certification
• Developing Champions Certification for 'Leading a Restaurant in Manager's Absence'

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the restaurant by recognizing and motivating staff and coaching team members to operational excellence.
• Perform hands-on operational work to train employees, respond to customer needs and model appropriate skills.
• Demonstrate company principles and recognition programs in daily practice.
• Assist in day-to-day operations by managing labor, inventory and supplies and developing the team.
• Supervise others and coordinate their work efficiently.
• Analyze sales, labor and inventory, taking corrective actions to meet margin and growth targets.
• Assist in preparing financial plans with the RGM and ensure safety and equipment standards are met.
• Recruit and select qualified team members and assist with staffing plans and training.
• Provide feedback to Team Members and Shift Leaders and support performance management and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with RGM on local marketing activities and new product rollouts.
