Job summary

Circle K is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, lead and coach team members, and maintain Brand standards so guests leave satisfied.

The RAM supervises shifts, helps with interviews, ensures cleanliness and safety, manages cash/inventory, and completes required paperwork when the RM is unavailable. The role requires strong communication, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Full time required; availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing required.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner; coaches and corrects team.
• Conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads.
• Maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties.
• Directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations.
• Cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training.
• Responsible for placing campaign materials upon request.
• Ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory records; completes end of shift paperwork and reports discrepancies.
• In RM absence, completes daily/weekly/end-of-period paperwork, inventory and cash counts, truck orders, and other admin duties.
• Guarantees a safe environment per laws and safety codes.
• Completes incident reports and follows 5-minute rule policy.
• Partners with RM to meet financial and operational metrics for profitability.
