Job summary

Burger King in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and deliver great guest experiences. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will supervise 20–45 team members, manage shift coverage, and support training and development of hourly staff to uphold brand standards.

You will oversee inventory, cash control, and store facilities, coordinate with vendors for maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient service during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L and profitability impact.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong guest service principles.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long or irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory costs and conduct regular inspections.
• Place and receive inventory truck orders.
• Maintain and monitor restaurant assets and vendor relations for maintenance.
• Uphold cash control and security procedures.
• Motivate and direct shifts to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Coach and develop Shifts Coordinators and Team Members.
• Direct operations for efficient preparation and prompt delivery of products.
• Uphold brand standards and perform Hourly Shift Coordinator duties when needed.
