Job summary

Burger King in Alamogordo, NM is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and deliver great guest service. You will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager and supervise 20–45 team members including Shift Coordinators.

As a hands-on leader, you will coach staff, manage inventory and cash controls, ensure brand standards, and schedule shifts to meet demand while maintaining quality and speed of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Profitability focus: manage inventory, orders, and asset list.
• Guest service: motivate team to deliver fast, friendly service.
• People: coach shifts and team members to improve performance.
• Operations: supervise food prep, speed of service, and brand standards; cover Shift Coordinator duties when needed.
