Job summary

HMSHost is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine operations. The AGM will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operated to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

The AGM will open/close shifts, supervise associates, interview candidates, monitor financials, enforce health and safety policies, and assign tasks to meet unit goals across one or more outlets.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 6 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 4 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within defined units.
• Interviews candidates and makes hiring decisions; promotes HMSHost as an employer of choice.
• Monitors financial and operational data to guide unit performance and assign staff accordingly.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and AB policies; manages schedules and staffing.
