Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in driving store performance. You will lead daily restaurant operations, oversee scheduling, labor management, and inventory, and coach Team Members toward excellence. The role emphasizes guest service, cost control, and financial oversight.

You will support with reports, action plans, and initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and store profitability, while upholding CAVA's values and culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions to enhance restaurant performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing; address team issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience and uphold high service standards.
• Assist with reporting, budgets, and financial record-keeping.
