Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead our restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to implement store plans, manage labor, forecasting, and inventory, and develop hourly Team Members through coaching and training.

You will support scheduling, guest satisfaction, and financial performance, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by addressing customer concerns promptly.
• Lead by example in customer service and motivate the team.
• Support financial tracking, cash handling, and budgeting adherence.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and performance analysis.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with procedures.
• Oversee food safety practices and staff training.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory and records.
