Job summary

Areas USA in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within the Operations department. You will report to the General Manager and lead front-of-house teams to uphold service standards, training, and compliance with F&B policies.

The role emphasizes shift leadership, cash handling, inventory, scheduling, and guest satisfaction, with opportunities for staff development and performance coaching in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with at least 2 years front-of-house or assistant management experience.
• Knowledge of service and food and beverage operations.
• Ability to communicate in the predominant language of the restaurant’s trading area.
• Strong math and computer skills; able to operate a cash register/POS.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the assigned shift and assisting in overall management.
• Assist in overall supervision of the store.
• Control cash and other receipts per cash handling procedures.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Assist in staff development and conduct meetings as needed.
• Prepare paperwork, forms, reports and schedules.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate; follow receiving procedures.
• Observe, teach, and correct staff service.
• Assist in scheduling labor based on activity.
• Place food orders as needed.
• Assist with inventory and waste tracking.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and labor regulations.
• Provide advice to Restaurant Manager as needed.
• Support safety and quality service goals.
