Job summary

Lyon Management Co., INC. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in Georgia. You will manage shifts, uphold service quality, sanitation, and speed of service, and assist in executing the GM’s business plan.

The role requires leadership in staffing, training, scheduling, and maintaining cost controls to optimize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain standards for product and service quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service.
• Assist in executing the restaurant’s business plan as directed by the GM.
• Ensure PRIDE systems and routines are incorporated daily.
• Ensure guest service meets company standards.
• Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete duties such as inventory control, ordering, and cash control.
• Help optimize profits by controlling product and labour costs and overseeing promotions.
• Staff, train and develop hourly employees and prepare schedules.
• Exercise good judgment and report issues to the GM.
• Perform other duties as requested by the GM.
