Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure adherence to policies, and lead a team to deliver consistent guest experiences. You will manage schedules, coach staff, and monitor quality while maintaining safety and compliance with brand standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. The role is on-site with opportunities for advancement, benefits, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32–48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others; 1–3 years of management experience required.
• Restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute training requirements and development plans.
• Enhance guest experiences by satisfying and exceeding expectations.
• Create effective work schedules following company standards and local laws.
• Plan shift assignments and communicate expectations.
• Supervise and coach team members to achieve quarterly goals.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager and assist with reviews.
• Foster a positive culture and report safety concerns promptly.
