Job summary

Barcelona Wine Bar Nashville is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, staff development, inventory and guest satisfaction. This role reports to the General Manager and requires hands-on leadership in a busy service environment.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years restaurant experience, a BA/BS in hotel/restaurant management is desirable, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ practical restaurant experience preferred.
• BA/BS degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commit to passionately, intensely, humble hospitality and high-quality guest experience.
• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions impacting guests.
• Manage shifts including scheduling, planning and upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Maintain restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, appearance and atmosphere.
• Ensure a safe working and guest environment and promptly handle incidents.
