Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza, a Pizza Hut franchise, is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager in South Padre Island, TX. You will support daily restaurant operations, ensuring friendly, personalized service and great food in a clean, inviting setting.

You will lead a fast-paced team, work closely with the General Manager and District Manager, and participate in coaching, scheduling, and performance development to uphold operational standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service preferred
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent and eligibility documentation
• Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and staffing schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orient new team members
• Coach and develop staff and manage team relations
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and safety standards
• Contribute to a fun, family-focused restaurant environment
