Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) in McAllen, TX is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily operations and deliver friendly, timely service with great food. You will work closely with the General Manager and District Manager to uphold standards in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service, flexibility for weekends and holidays, and a proven ability to lead a team while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant
