Job summary

McIlhenny Company on Avery Island, LA is seeking a Restaurant Operations Lead to steer day-to-day dining room and kitchen activities, ensuring guests receive exceptional service, top quality food, and efficient operations.

You’ll supervise staff, support scheduling and inventory, and partner with leadership to drive guest satisfaction while upholding TABASCO brand standards and Avery Island hospitality tradition.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, culinary, hospitality, or food service operations.
• Experience leading staff in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Experience supporting staffing, scheduling, inventory, and guest service.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure guest experiences.
• Lead staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and daily workforce coordination.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and presentation.
• Coordinate with leadership on inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations.
• Support events, hospitality functions, and guest experience initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional restaurant facilities.
