Swensons Drive-In Restaurants in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a busy high‑volume stand. You will oversee staff, ensure food quality and guest satisfaction, and manage schedules, costs, and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership in fast‑paced food service, strong coaching and communication skills, and a hands‑on, positive approach.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of coaching, training, and development in high‑volume food service management.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a restaurant manager in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to quickly develop positive working relationships with staff.
• Energetic, proactive, and able to work across shifts in a fast‑paced setting.
• Flexible schedule and basic financial and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains leadership responsibilities when the GM is absent.
• Direct departmental tasks as designated by the GM.
• Ensure adherence to systems, analyze P&L and ensure product availability.
• Develop staff through feedback, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Prepare schedules and ensure proper staffing for all shifts.
• Oversee kitchen and curb staff; manage onboarding and training.
• Drive guest satisfaction and handle guest feedback and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies.
