Job summary

Dave & Buster's seeks an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead a BOH team and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. You will hire, train, and mentor staff while driving labor and food cost efficiency to deliver a premier guest experience.

The role requires overseeing kitchen operations, implementing a daily plan for ticket times and profitability, and ensuring adherence to company standards during shifts and transitions.

Qualifications

• Meet or exceed the standard of food safety and quality to insure guest experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, retaining and developing promotable people.
• Control costs (food waste, production) to optimize financial results.
• Execute Flight plan when scheduled to be Kitchen Manager on duty.
• Insure the execution of Dave & Buster's operating standards and philosophies in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the kitchen during a shift, creating energy, teamwork and morale for an excellent guest experience.
• Develop a shift plan with goals for ticket times, staff development and profitability.
• Execute opening, pre-closing, and closing procedures as standard.
• Hold staff accountable by providing feedback and by checking out; monitor performance.
